Find, download, chart
TView scans your local network and lists every TV2 it finds, or connects over USB. Downloads run on demand or on a schedule; with automatic download enabled it writes a fresh file each month, so a backup exists whether or not anyone remembers to make one.
Charts combine sensors, scale to any period, and print. Numeric listings are available for the same data when a table is easier to read than a trace.
Records that stay verifiable
Downloaded files are encrypted with 128-bit encryption and can carry an electronic signature. TView shows an indicator confirming that a file is still verified, which is the property sites depend on when the data supports a regulated process.
Exporting to Excel deliberately leaves the encrypted format. Keep the encrypted file as the record and treat the spreadsheet as analysis.

Alarms are raised by the monitor itself. TView adds remote notification; it is not required for the instrument to alarm.
