Museums and archives
Hold galleries and stores within their conservation range, and produce the environmental record a lender asks for.

A mechanical hygrometer can be knocked out of calibration by a curious visitor tapping the glass. A digital sensor in a sealed pod cannot. There are no moving parts, no drum, no pen, and no sling psychrometer needed to check it.
Temperature and humidity are sampled every few seconds and averaged into memory every ten minutes, giving many months of history that is visible on the display and exportable for loan documentation.
Placement without cable runs
Wireless sensors go where the objects are and report to a display in a central location, with clear line-of-sight range beyond 60 feet. Wired sensors suit permanent cases and stores.
Records for lenders
Charts and numeric data export to a file, so the environmental record that accompanies a loan agreement comes straight out of the instrument rather than out of a spreadsheet someone maintained by hand.
Recalibration when you want it
Each sensor holds a three point calibration table that can be adjusted in place, and NIST-traceable certificates are available.
