Fridge and freezer alarm

Protect a refrigerator and a freezer from the same display, with wired or wireless sensors.

Whether you store vaccines, laboratory materials or any other temperature-critical inventory, the pairing is the same: a sensor in the refrigerator, a sensor in the freezer, and one Easy-Touch display where staff already walk past.

At a ten minute logging interval the monitor keeps roughly a year and a half of history for each unit, so printing a chart for an inspector is a matter of choosing a date range.

Six steps to running

Place the sensors. Set the date and time to start logging. Set high and low limits for each sensor. Plug in the Ethernet cable. Install TView on a PC. Enter the addresses that should receive text or email alerts.

Four kinds of alarm

High and low temperature per sensor, power failure, low battery, and missing sensor. Each one is visible on screen and closes the relay output.

Wired or wireless

Wired sensors carry a twenty foot lead, extendable to about 200 feet. Wireless sensors put the transmitter outside the unit with the probe fed through the hinge-side gasket, and should sit within about 50 feet of the display.
